HCM for Europe

HCM software for Europe.

One HR and payroll platform across European entities, with country rules configured per company and delivered alongside SEIDOR, our implementation partner across Europe and the Middle East.

Compliance

Built for multi-country European operations in one pay run.

Multi-country payroll

Country rules - contribution brackets, tax treatment, statutory leave - configured per legal entity in one payroll engine.

Multi-currency

Pay in any currency with automatic conversion and a complete per-period payroll history for each entity.

EU Pay Transparency reporting

Gender pay gap reporting under Directive (EU) 2023/970, from the same records payroll runs on. The first reports fall due in June 2027, and they are only produceable if pay is already structured by role and category - which is a system question, not a policy one.

Pay ranges and job architecture

The Directive requires a pay range before the first interview, so roles need consistent grading rather than ad-hoc offers. Job architecture and salary bands are held in Core HR and feed recruitment directly.

GDPR-aligned data handling

Role-based access control, complete audit trails, and a choice of cloud or on-premise deployment for organisations that must keep data in-country.

ERP integration

Native SAP Business One integration plus SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo posting through the Integration Hub.

Delivered with SEIDOR

Implementation and local support through SEIDOR, a partner operating across Europe and the Middle East.

Configurable formulas

The visual formula builder expresses local calculation rules without custom code, so a new country is configuration rather than a project.

FAQ

Questions we get about Europe.

Does Magnar support multi-country payroll in Europe?

Yes. Country rules are configured per legal entity inside one payroll engine, so a group running several European companies administers them together while each is calculated under its own statutory rules.

Can Magnar be deployed on-premise in Europe?

Yes. Magnar runs on cloud or on-premise, which matters for organisations with data residency requirements, and access is governed by role-based control with complete audit trails.

Does Magnar support EU Pay Transparency Directive reporting?

Yes. Gender pay gap reporting under Directive (EU) 2023/970 is produced from the payroll and Core HR records already held, broken down by category of worker. The transposition deadline was 7 June 2026 and the first reports fall due in June 2027, so the practical constraint is not the report itself - it is whether the underlying pay data is structured well enough to produce one.

What does the Pay Transparency Directive require from an HR system?

Three things a spreadsheet cannot give you: consistent job categories so employees doing equal work can be compared, a pay range attached to each role before recruitment begins, and a defensible audit trail behind every pay decision. Magnar holds job architecture, salary bands and pay history in one place, so the report is a query rather than a project.

Most member states missed the transposition deadline - does that delay anything?

Not for employers. Only a handful of member states transposed on time, but the Directive's obligations still arrive, and reporting is due regardless of when national law lands. Organisations that wait for their own country's statute have less time to fix pay structures that turn out to be hard to defend.

Can Magnar run payroll for multiple legal entities in Europe?

Yes. Magnar is multi-company by design: unlimited legal entities, each with its own payroll calendar, statutory rules, approval workflows and data isolation, all administered from one system and reported on together.

Does Magnar work in Arabic?

Yes. The web application and the employee self-service mobile apps run in English, Arabic (full right-to-left) and Spanish, so each employee works in their own language while HR reports in one.

Can Magnar integrate with our existing ERP?

Yes. Magnar integrates natively with SAP Business One and posts to SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and Odoo through the Integration Hub, so payroll journals reach the general ledger without re-keying.
